7-5-2017 There are no leftovers. I have about four dozen Zip Loc disposable cups with lids. Hot food is divided into servings and capped immediately so it will keep until I get a round toit.

Linda JoyI do that with meat. Cook it portion it, only I use bags, and freeze it. My fresh veggies and fruits are more vulnerable.

wiseacreYou remind me of how I used to do the same thing with pot roast and should really get back to doing that again.

It all depends on what is what about it. I make 5 fruit smoothies for myself, put them in the fridge and have one every other day, where for the fruits, about 4 days is just right. Meats are just better if gotten to before the 2nd day ends. Remember, mold is edible, just don't have too much. all things in moderation.

No longer than 3 days.

I keep leftover food in my fridge for a couple of days.

Two days. Beyond that you are playing russian roulette with a chance for ten days of supersized cramps and diarrhea.

I don't have leftovers, per se, but foods do stay in there until they stink. I can't cook, and the rule is, never eat anything that smells bad.

Leftovers that contain meat stays in my fridge for up to three days, while veggies remain in my fridge for up to five days

Not long. I make sure to have leftovers so my husband can eat them for lunches. They'll last 2-3 days.

no more than 3 days intentionally except for acid things like cranberry sauce.. But I did find a small fuzzy grey/green grapefruit quietly hiding out under a prescription medicine bag in the bottom drawer of my fooderator last week. I have no idea how long it had been resting there but when i touched it with a paper towel it puffed out a smokey grey cloud so i had to clean out the fridge & spray it down with lysol while constantly sneezing with tears running down my cheeks.
