  • It looks lovely seeing nothing but questions!
  • You've got to learn not to count your chickens before they turn to spam.

Never! I believe in celebrating even the small pleasures in life and it did look so good to me at the time! Besides if I didn't celebrate the little things I'd never celebrate! Lol

      I gave myself a haircut - lets celebrate !
    • Linda Joy
Ok! How do we celebrate that? Make a nest out of the clippings? Write a song about it? Bake a cake? How much did you cut off? How short is it now? The last time I seriously cut my hair was 2009. I trim it now and then.

Being military I like to keep it short. I've been busy fighting foreclosure and my grooming was a low priority. It was longer than I'd usually allow it. It was enough for a birds nest. A song sounds appropriate.
  • definitely

Now I am scratching my head trying to remember that. Lol
  • I have liked Spam since I was a child during WWII. Meat was hard to come by because of rationing but Spam was almost always available. It came in 5 and 10 pound sizes. Mom would get a large one and fix it up with spices and cloves. It was pretty tasty as I recall. I still like Spam today.

It's ham! I like it,but I have to watch my sodium I just noticed one of my favorite breads has 210 mg sodium per slice! That's the same as my rotisserie flavor chicken Lunchmeat! 630 in one sandwich! I may have to start making my own bread. I'm definitely going to check bread labels from now on! Spam was a food processing innovation at the time like Swansons first tv dinner just as women were going to work for the war effort. An amazing time that was!
