  • Modern, casual locale with outdoor seating featuring thoughtfully sourced American fare & cocktails.

That sounds like a nice place to connect with others like the cafe's in Paris where artists went. (Like the movie Midnight in Paris) Yes I see the connection! There would be much to ponder.

It does sound like a nice environment. I didn't notice the category either. In mathematics, two quantities are in the golden ratio if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities. Decimal: 1.6180339887498948482... A001622 Binary: 1.1001111000110111011 Hexadecimal: 1.9E3779B97F4A7C15F39

I don't understand how it plays out in the world could you enlighten me?

There's a good article about its ancient origins. Patterns in nature were turned into a mathematical formula. Here's some ways the Golden Mean was/is used: http://jwilson.coe.uga.edu/EMT668/EMAT6680.2000/Obara/Emat6690/Golden%20Ratio/golden.html

Thanks you for the links. I'll look into these tomorrow after Church I've been up over 24 hours and it's time for me to try and sleep. Rest well my friend!

Here I am at 1 am not sleeping, but wow! Just finished reading how the nautilus is a golden spiral! Next up the penrose tilings. I'm wondering if the golden spiral can be used in your calligraphy... have you ever purposely used it while doing calligraphy? I've never been into abstract art,but I think I might want to try incorporating a golden spiral on to canvas using a lot of bright colors, or maybe the tiles once I read on that a while. This is interesting!

Not consciously. I wonder like the folks with perfect pitch, that some artists naturally use the golden ratio because they can feel it when they see it.

I'm not artistically or musically talented. I can pick out a tune on piano, I learned one song on guitar and I tried to play flute in middle school, but I pretty much sucked. I never studied art, but I color pictures and paint a little it relaxes me.

But I'm very talented at playing a radio!
