  • Well, as a commercial driver, you should have known better than to speed. That said, if your driving record is clean, request a hearing. Explain to the judge that this is not common practice for you, you were not aware of the speed limit (if you haven't driven that road) and that it's financially neccesary for you to keep your job. Many hearing officers or judges will reduce a fine amount if the driver seems penitent and stand to be hurt financially. Good luck.
  • 21 OVER??? That is wreckless. Companies frown on that.. You (WE AS TRUCKERS) CANNOT get tickets over 15 mph in the truck, OR THE CAR. You have to get the judge to reduce the speed to below 15 mph over. you can take it from there, but thats most important.. NOBODY WILL HIRE YOU BECAUSE YOU WOULD BE AN INSURANCE RISK..
