  • From the 2004 Ford Explorer Owners' Manual: "The keypad can be operated with the factory set 5–digit entry code; this code is located on the owner’s wallet card in the glove box, is marked on the computer module, and is available from your authorized Ford dealer." • The factory set code will work even if you have set your own personal code. • If you set a second personal code it will erase your first personal code. Good luck
  • I JUST FOUND MINE. It is behind the panel on the passenger side back seat. If you were sitting in this spot it would be at your right shoulder .First pop of the top panel with the seat belt going thru it.Than remove or pull out the bottem panel just enough to shine a flashlight into. The number will be on the computer module. Mine is a 2004 also .Better than spending 70.00 to have Ford bring it up on the computer. Good luck Jim
