  • I want every languages. I have a lil background in spanish, korean and japanese. But i want to master it. I'm planning to be fluent first in english before anything else.

That's fantastic. The more languages you can communicate in means that more doors will open for you, and you will go farther in life. I wish I could speak Korean and Japanese, but I think it's too late for me now. Before I went to school I spoke Ukrainian, English, and French equally well. I speak Russian poorly, and Spanish a little better. Oh and, I really like your new avatar too !! Great choice. : )
    • Myang
Yeah. I'm looking for more opportunities. And Wow. you're great. I want french too. Do you still know/remember how to speak Ukrainian and French? Then Thanks about my avatar. You've said i must take some time to look for it but im sorry it takes how many hours for me to pick the avatar because i want it to be suitable for me and that picture is the closest one.

There is nothing to be sorry about, like I said your avatar looks great. To answer your questions - Yes, I speak English and French everyday and equally well. French people tell me I speak very good English, and English people say I speak very good French. I think it's because I can flip back and forth without missing anything in a conversation. I still speak Ukrainian also, but not like I use to, I have to think hard when I do speak it now.
    • Myang
wow. that really sounds so interesting. How did you learn french and ukranian? and from what country are you too?
    • Ice man
I'm from Canada. My father's parents came here from the Ukraine before the first world war. My parents split up when I was a baby, so as a child I lived with my grandparents and in their house we spoke Ukrainian. I would go outside and play with the neighboring children. Some spoke French, and some spoke English. I played with everybody and that's how I learned.
    • Myang
Ow. That's why you knew well Canadian birds :D and that's why you know how to speak Ukrainian. We're the same about living with grandparents when we're still kid (that's how i learn Filipino as ewll) and i'm anime lover and number one fan of kpop. Hmm. Let's get back to you by the way sir. So you're canadian? who grow up in ukraine? right? :)
    • Ice man
No, I was born and grew up in Canada, and both my parents were born in Canada as well. It was my father's parents who came from the Ukraine somewhere around the year 1910.
    • Myang
Wow! What a history! :D Are your grandparents still alive? :) and what's your dialect in Canada Sir Iceman? English? Or do you have your own language as well?
    • Ice man
My grandparents died many years ago. My father died 4 years ago, and I'm afraid my mother won't last much longer either. In Canada, English and French are both official languages, but English is the most spoken.
