    it is absolutly life changing.
lulzhai's did a good job of explaining what a dmt trip is like, but the surprising thing is that everyones dmt trip is almost, or exactly the same. heres how i would explain a dmt trip ( remember that anything i say is VERY under-exagerated because there are simply no english words that even come close to describing any feelings dmt gives you.)

your hear a loud vibrating buzz that gets louder and louder and bigger and wider and you feel like you are being propelled into space, but that is just the very start.
when you actually do "break thru" you dont really realize where or whats going on and have no memory of smoking the dmt. you dont realize whats going on because there is no "you" to realize whats going on. you are simply everything, and nothing at the same time. and that is an extreamly life changing feeling.

you feel like the entire universe is pilled on top of you. and the universe, is a dome of INCREDABLY complex geometric patterns, interchanging and intermingeling within each other. i cannot begin to descirbe to you how astonishing and ridiculously comlicated these patterns are(so astonishing that it can make a normal person like me rabble on like a stoned hippie).

after a little bit of "time" goes by, some sort of beings start to apear in front of you. they are not facing you, but you know they acknowledge you behind them. even tho thease "things" have barley moved they seem indescribingly important.
thease thing were not god. i have talked to people who have apparentlly been in the same situation with a single being who they without a doubt described as the "highest" being.
but anyway i started to come back to earth right after i saw the "things" but lots of other people say they come in contact with several different and seperate visitors who sometimes give objects to you that can seem more precious then life itself.

im sorry for rabbling on but if you ever do decide to take dmt you will understand why i did.
please dont just take dmt without giving it serious thinking and meditation defore injestion. and thank you for reading my story.

Endogenous DMT release has been linked to religious experiences, out of body experiences and alien abduction. It's been speculated that the reason for the presence of DMT in the brain (since it's produced naturally by the pineal gland situated around all the emotional and sensory systems in the brain) is that it is the chemical bind for the soul to the body- as two major DMT releases are a specific period during birth (about the same time that the gender becomes apparent) and before death (the soul leaving).

DMT, reportedly (I haven't had the opportunity to embark on this trip yet) takes you to a completely different dimension. In many cases, the subject has been taken to the same place...There is a feeling of being under an indescribably enormous dome, and specific entities approach you (self-transforming machine elves, as deemed by Terence Mckenna) speaking a strange, high pitched, and rapid language and making gifts for you- also, many times, the gifts are sort of faberge eggs made of many random things- some of which are not actually tangible. Upon smoking it, you are supposed to hear crackling sounds, like plastic wrapper crinkling or a flame- then a high pitched tone that gets higher and higher. You expand- get bigger and bigger, faster and faster until you "break through" The fabric of reality, physically enter a completely entranced state, and jump into this alternate universe. Some thing that this is one of the stages of "heaven" or something similar, in that you can't really get past that stage as passing that area (which seems to be a fixed dome) means never returning.

Terence McKenna described it as such:
"[The feeling of doing DMT] is as though one had been struck by noetic lightning. The ordinary world is almost instantaneously replaced, not only with a hallucination, but a hallucination whose alien character is its utter alienness. Nothing in this world can prepare one for the impressions that fill your mind when you enter the DMT sensorium."

If you are in possession of DMT and are going to smoke it, I'd love to hear about the trip :)

ive smoked it twice. i was so anxious the first time. my palms sweated just thinking of taking that hit. so i did it. in the next instant i recall no fears, i felt surprised with the amount of love i was receiving as well as emitting. i entered a nirvana like world. the second time was my favorite. upon returning to the vibrating world of pleasure and patterns i felt like an exterior force was pushing me backwards. i sat up in a meditative posture as my body entangled itself in helpless movements that were tiny attempts to dance with the music i was surrounded by. i chose not to pursue dancing but instead to close my eyes and meditate along with the dmt. and this choice brought me to a realm of freedom and fluid thoughts. i noticed faint images but powerful movements of two tribal and puppet like beings dancing in front of me. one was feminine and one masculine and they danced so beautifully in this world and moved forwards and backwards in my perception of depth. i asked questions like who are you,,, is this earth.... and as i grounded to what i know is earth, all i felt was incredible gratitude to have taken responsibility as a human being to make the choice of interacting with this foreign realm and vibes of love. i said thankyou and wished to pursue yoga, painting, and making music. i felt the power of a true creator yet so humble as tho i became just a blade of grass breathing with the breeze. these beings are my choice of therapy. for they also show me that the experience is where the love is and i do not feel in any way addicted.

At first your vision becomes filled with visuals, you can still make out everyday things, but there are much patterns and stuff. Then it starts to come on pretty strong and you close your eyes and trip out on the patterns unfolding. You begin to make out things from the patterns as things you are familiar with. They are constantly moving and changing. You might notice the presence of external beings. Decide for yourself if they are your imagination or not. When I would open my eyes, I would start tripping very hard on the ceiling, unlike any other psychedelic has done to me. It is more comfortable to keep your eyes closed. In my trip I noticed external beings who were operating on me, about 6 of them or so. They were performing various tests on me, ones that were within my range of comfort. They even removed parts of myself that I did not like. I was grateful. Earlier in the experience I saw a clown come to be that was kind of like floating and morphing. Nothing that I saw was too creepy or anything. The body high was pretty nice and like mushrooms, I found it had some physically therapeutic value. As I began the trip I began breathing vary nice big relaxed breaths. When I came out of the experience, I felt like I was on mushrooms and felt like doing body healing work. The experience is nothing like what I imagined it would be. I could have gone to work about 10-15 minutes after smoking it. It come quick and leaves quick. I felt good for the rest of the day. I did this in a legal setting too by the way. ; - )

After drinking the Ayahuasca brew I found myself in the universe, and there were alien worlds, and spaceships, and alien beings.
Then I realised that the whole of life is a dream, span out by the mind. When ego is gone, death and birth have no meaning.
And then I was in Nirvana, perfect peace, and universal consciousness.

It shows you the possibility of cosmic enlightenment. You will see alien worlds, alien beings, angels, devas, fairies, alien cities, machines, visions of humanitys future. It will blow your conventional reality away, and you will spend months thinking wow what was that. Day after day , even weeks after taking the DMT, bliss, visions and insights will keep coming. You will feel like you are being elevated to the realm of the stars , or of God.
The whole Universe will show itself to you, and you will be very very amazed and surprised. It will change you for ever.

I smoked it for the first time yesterday. Before I continue I feel I must say...I have tried acid and shrooms several times before. The acid I've eaten was in a very pure form most people cannot even get their hands on, but since I have connections with the people who make it in California. Anyway it was in it's powder form. My friend poured a mound full into my hand. It was the equivalent from somewhere around 60-75 hits. Never tripped, an hour later with no effects I also at a handful of shrooms...still nothing. I've eaten both before several times and have never tripped. One time I started seeing blurry but bright colors, no hallucinations though. My friend said he's seen this, but only with one other person. Anyhow, the DMT trip. For some reason I decided to try it at 7a.m as I was getting ready for work (would not reccomend this!). I suppose because I had my pipe and needle, but no meth handy and I was curious. The first hit I took was a big one (comparing to a hit of meth). As compared to crystal it took a little longer to melt but once it did the smoke vapors came out a lot thicker. It was harsh and I only thought about that for about 10 seconds. Then I can't really explain how I felt after that, I have done many drugs in many ways but none I could compare to what I felt yesterday. I just remember my whole mind and body felt so awesome I can't even describe it. I showered and when I got out the high was wearing off so I took two more big hits. Wow, I had an out of body experience and was just walking around enjoying it. Not for long though. I looked at the time and I started freaking cause I thought I was running late. Then I just remember running around the house like a chicken with it's head cut off. Where's my pants? Did I brush my teeth? Did I put everything back where it goes. What do I do with this pipe? I don't want my friend to think there's meth in there then smoke it! He would freak! OMG omg, should I throw it away? There's still some left in there, should I hide it? It was like the first time I smoked weed at my mom's house! I felt like my body was not being controlled by me but by something else, I'm not sure what. I saw my hand holding the pipe but did not know how I was doing it, or moving any other way for that matter. Something else was controlling my body but it was still doing what I was trying to do. Which was getting ready for work while staring at my body wondering how it was moving and continuing to say "what the fuck, whaaat thee fuckk!" A part of me was thinking I was not moving right but I somehow knew I was. Maybe because I felt like I was not in control of my body. I hear the high only last 5-10 minutes but 15 later I was still out of it. I had to drive an hour away. I thought I probably shouldn't attempt to drive but I could not be late. So I got in the car and I felt like the car was flying like a hover craft or something. Once again I did not feel I was controlling anything with my own body, but my body was still doing what I knew it needed to do. So about 45 mins later I was back to my normal self. Everywhere I have read or heard, people talk about the ripping sound and breaking through, I never experienced that nor the alien beings everyone talks about. I never hallucinated in any way. I hate that for whatever reason I have not been able to experience this. I still have a bit left so I will try it some more and let you know how it goes. But god I want that trip I always hear about.
