I could care less, really. It looks good either way, on most girls. A little variety is what works best.

i know i am a chick, but we did a poll in school over 100 guys, asking which styles and lengths of hair they prefered. their favorite was long hair, worn down, preferably straight [about 60% said straight hair, 40% liked wavy or curly]. also, they liked half up/half down. least favorite was short and spiky.

I like it when girls have longish hair, and then wear it up in a pony-tail with some wispys or pieces that hang in their face or are tucked around their ears.

Definitely prefer long hair down, but short hair can be attractive too. Bottom line...it's her head and she can wear her hair anyway she wants.

really it depends on the girl. Mostly I prefer it up and off the neck...a good face and neck is nice to look at. As someone else pointed out above, short spiky hair is defiantly NOT a good look for most women usually, especially if it's"highlighted". It almost could be compared to the "highly gelled look" for young insurance salesman in a way. I work in the mental health field, and it seems a large majority of women choose the short "parted and spiky" look for some reason or another...it's almost an epidemic in itself!

whoa, this is a good one. To me, I think that it's more attractive in really formal social situations to have it down, because it seems more daring, and to have it up in the PJ situation is sexy, because you seem more ready for play... ;-)

i love it down...flowing is the best....but if it's got to be up...i love the casual pony tail....the single on in theback...not to the side.... but down is my fav...

Depends on the girl and the hair, but generally down. Honestly, not the first thing I pay attention to.

The way a woman wears her hair makes a statement. It sets her apart from the crowd. Her personality is expressed by how she presents herself. While I find a woman who wears her hair up to be intriguing, I prefer women with LONG straight hair. I think most guys do.

I love a woman's hair worn long and down,..but I know it is not always practical in many work situations. But, If I am fortunate enough to be able to take her to dinner or out anywhere in a social situation, I am very complimented if she wears it long and down around her shoulders,...Ohhh, wow,...She has me at "Hi".

It wouldn't matter much but I've always liked free flowing hair. Very sexy. :-)
