Will I need to have my timing belt changed when my water pump is changed on my 1994 Toyota Corolla?

    You don't have to, but you absolutely should.. as a rule of thumb

    The timing belt and water pump in interference engines tend to push and pull on each other as they wear down, and they establish a sort of friendly 'relationship' of wear. If you replace one and not the other, more than half of the time the other will break very soon after. If your timing belt breaks on an interference engine, the pistons will hit the valves and completely destroy them, and you'll need a new engine head. If your water pump breaks, you need to re-time the engine again anyway and you risk catastrophic damage from overheating.
