not if its in your contract of employment. if it was an error on your payslip i believe they can remove it. you should contact the citizen advice bureau they will tell you everything you need to know.
Well I thought that they could legally give you a pay cut anyway, after all it is their money (or their companies money) and so should get to decided how to spend it. So I assume that they can legally give you a pay cut.
Can you get arrested for this?
