I'm not really sure there is one that I would consider a cure. There are many "snake oil" remedies on the market but I've heard of none that have the desired permanent effect.
There are two "drugs" that offer some hope of hair but I'm not sure the side effects are worth the hair they might grow. In both cases, if you stop using the drug, any hair that has been grown with it will eventually be lost.
One is Propecia- for men only! side effects :
They included less desire for sex, difficulty in achieving an erection, and a decrease in the amount of semen.
Women who are or may potentially be pregnant must not use PROPECIA because of the risk that the active ingredient may cause a specific kind of birth defect. (See Patient Product Information for details.) Likewise, women should avoid handling tablets that are crushed or broken. PROPECIA tablets are coated to prevent contact with the active ingredient during normal handling.
In addition, some men may have breast enlargement and/or tenderness. You should promptly report to your doctor any changes in your breasts such as lumps, pain, or nipple discharge.
(and they want you to ingest this stuff? )
The second, a topical treatment, is Minoxidil (commonly advertised as being found in Rogaine)
Side effects include:
Itching or skin rash (continued)
Acne at site of application; burning of scalp; increased hair loss; inflammation or soreness at root of hair; reddened skin; swelling of face
Rare
Blurred vision or other changes in vision; chest pain; decrease of sexual ability or desire; fast or irregular heartbeat; flushing; headache; lightheadedness; numbness or tingling of hands, feet, or face; swelling of face, hands, feet, or lower legs; weight gain (rapid)
Don't know which you'd find more attractive ;)
While there are surgical methods of rearranging hair on your head, they can also weave real or synthetic hair to your existing hair or glue the stuff to your head. You have to ask yourself if you really need it that much.
Hopefully you're not one of those that has resorted to the "comb over".
If so, you're not fooling anyone but yourself!
Cut it short and you'll look 100% better!
(forget the rugs too!)
Hair does not make the man, any more than clothes do.
A confident, self assured man is infinitely more attractive whether he has hair or not. We're are in luck though, as balding or shaven pates have come into fashion, of late :) While I personally have taken to buzzing my hair short, i don't think i'll be breaking out the razor anytime soon. I hate having to shave my face and am not going to to more of it on my head! I look at the bright side of baldness, I no longer have to waste money on haircuts (at an avg of $15 a pop, it adds up) I've no need to buy combs or brushes either. Not to mention (although I will) the cost of shampoo and conditioner and assorted hair gels/sprays. Relax, don't worry about it and use the extra money you've saved to do something nice for yourself.
One word of advice as the warmer weather approaches, don't forget the sunscreen! :)

Wow! Why would anyone take those risks when at best it will only delay hairloss, not even prevent it altogether?
