I am 49 years old and filling for SSI after our all uncontested divorce is final. Although he was the one at fault. Someone told me there is benefits of his S.S. I can apply for at the same time as I do for SSI. That it will not hurt will not hurt him.

    If you were married for 10+ years you can probably get a little when he dies.
