Oh yeah! I used to fish all the time. I've caught catfish, all kinds of bass, crappie, etc. There is not much that is more relaxing than sitting on the bank of a lake with your ol' cane pole, catching crappie in the shade. The biggest fish I have ever caught was a 5 and 1/2 lb. black bass.

A big one. This one swam away after a quick photo.
-
I've caught some mackerel before, however they weren't very big.

oh sure, the first fish I ever caught was a little sun fish, it was a few inches long, very pretty. The largest thing I ever caught was a carp, they are so ugly and gross...! But very good practice, those suckers are strong!

I have caught many fish. More than I can remember. I don't know how large my largest one was. I believe around 4 lbs. It was a catfish. Obviously not a very large catfish.

I caught a fish once. It exploded in my hands.

I used to catch a lot of lake perch, but they're not very big. When I was three, my family went fishing off the coast of Maine and I caught a Sea Robin (think that's the correct name). They call it the flying fish because it has "wings" I guess. I wanted to take it home and put it in an aquarium....my dad cut my line!

It was a small mouth bass 21/2 lber

Yes many times here on the farm. Plus down on the river. The biggest for myself, was a catfish on the river at 89 LBs. But the most funnest are the Bass caught here on the lakes. Most are around 1 to 7 LB'S. Same goes for the channel catfish here on the farm...........Hope you get to have fun doing the same some day..+4 for your question......M.C.S.
