I am currently reading eragon by christopher paolini, i havent seen the film. if i watch the film after i have read the book am i likely to be disappointed?

    I have neither read the book nor have I seen the movie. However, the general consensus of the reviews on the Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0449010/usercomments) is that the movie is not worth seeing.

    Yes. Sorry. The movie has some good points, but it's not great even on its own. As an adaptation of the book, it is quite sad. If you watch it, do so only for the graphics -- the visuals of the movie are pretty impressive. But it ends there.

    I haven't read the book but I watched the movie- appearently the movie doesn't do any justice to the book, so says my friend. I didn't like the movie. but you may find it intereseting- it depends on your taste

    No, I read the book and the same day I finished I saw the movie and loved it! Yes, I must admit it was not as good as the book but that doesn't mean it's horrible.
