No. Insurers, who have and study the figures, tend to give lower premiums to women than to men. One report I saw said that women tend to have slightly more accidents, but significantly less damaging ones. To exaggerate, women have a lot of fender-benders, whereas men have a few wipeouts. I know which I would rather be in the other car for.

Not that I know of. I think it just depends on the individual, but I know insurance is more expensive for teenage boys then girls.
