In general, why do celebrities get married and divorced more often than regular people?

Well... marriage and divorce provides much more publicity than the average marriage or divorce. This could be beneficial for celebs. Also, the nature of work for celebrities requires a schedule that usually conflicts within the marriage. A key to marriage is spending time together - learning, growing, etc. and this is usually lost in a celebrity marriage. Not to mention the fact that movie stars are often paired with others that require a significant emotional connection to make a movie, song, etc. work. They live in a different world. Do they? Have you got statistics for that? Or are their marriages and divorces better documented? If true: because it is difficult for one marriage to contain two rich career people. And it is easier to divorce if neither party is going to be reduced to poverty.
