I'm 16 and a Soprano 1 by nature, but I find I can't hit my notes as easily as I could before, and my throat feels dry and tight when I try to. Why is this happening?

Because you're 16, and your voice is still developing. Sorry, but you might want to consider singing a lower part. I was singing soprano 1 at 15, but by 16 I was an alto 2.
