  • Usually Shout or some sort of cleaner such as that will work, but you need to wet the item, spray it on, let it sit, handwash the area, repeat several times, till it is gone. Just spraying it on and putting it in the wash won't work. There are blood stain removal products, but they are not easily found.
  • If it is a FRESH bloodstain, try peroxide. Put some in a bowl, and soak the area in it.
  • If it's fresh, try cold water first. Then use OxyClean. It should come out pretty easily.
  • Just soak the clothes in water for a few hours. Your sink will do just fine.
  • Cold water and salt should get rid of the stain.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • If it is still fresh, use hydrogen peroxide. Soak a cloth, then scrub the spots. If it has dried, soak the garment in cold water, then scrub. If necessary then use the hydrogen peroxide again. Good Luck..
  • if it is a small spot - believe it or not , your own SPIT will get out your own blood , so spit and soak - and dont wash in hot or dry the garment in the dryer then you will never get it out - and if that doesnt work try the Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Cold water immediately and then hydrogen peroxide after. Never let it get into hot water or being pressed. It can set it even more.
  • I find that cold water and dawn dishsoap works well. I used to get this stuff called stain devils that had different formulas for different stains that worked great, but I can't find it anymore.
  • I heard that nothing beats your own suliva, spose it really should be your own blood you sucking...lol
  • Hydrogen peroxide does work great for blood stains. You can also apply a paste of baking soda and cold water. Let sit until dry and rinse off. Ammonia works for white fabrics, but just use a small amount, it's very strong. Or, you can also use waterless hand soap.
  • As soon as it happens, washing it in cold water works miracles. Oxyclean and Shout wipes work amazingly too. Good luck! ~+~
  • As soon as you get blood on yoru clothes...COLD WATER! After that, I usually use the Shout stain remover w/ the red bristles to scrub the stain, let it sit & then wash it in cold water. It works for my hubby & his bloody nose episodes.
  • Even if you get it looking clean, the police can still find DNA evidence on it. Best to just burn them while you still have time. ;)
