There are two galaxies called Pegasus in the Local Group (our local cluster of galaxies, which also includes the Milky Way and Andromeda, among others).

There is the Pegasus Dwarf Irregular Galaxy (also known as Peg DIG or the Pegasus Dwarf) and the Pegasus Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxy (also known as Pegasus II, Andromeda VI, or Peg dSph for short, a satellite of the Andromeda galaxy).

The Pegasus Dwarf Irregular Galaxy is an irregular dwarf galaxy with mainly metal-poor stellar populations, approximately 2.9-3.1 million light years away, located in the direction of the constellation also known as Pegasus.

The Pegasus Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxy is a dwarf spheroidal galaxy about 2.7 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus, populated with mainly metal-poor stellar populations like its "sister" galaxy.
