Question

Help answer this question below.

A friend who often often forgets to take her birth control pill bet me I wouldn't last 90 days w/out missing. Any short term effects for a guy (upset stomach, etc). Any long term bad consequences or everything OK once I stop.

I think it would be safer if you just took a tic tac every day......... messing with hormones is no good.

- Thanks for answering an old question. I have until 9/18 (when her new presription starts) to decide to take the bet or not.I actually suggested the tic tac thing. She said it had to be her pills and she would know if I lied about forgetting. I wouldn't cheat but her response makes me think there are side effects. If you know of any, let me know. The only thing I have found that could pertain to a guy was getting emotional. A little emotional wackiness could be worth it. I win she pays for upgraded cruise suite and bar tab for me and my g/f, I lose I pay for the same for her and her husband(we're all going together)

lowered risk of prostate cancer
They probably will:

increase their risk of breast cancer
increase the chance of blood clots which can be fatal
increase the chance of liver or gall bladder disease or tumors
decrease the size of their testicles
lower their interest in sex
alter their mood or personality in unpredictable ways

- Decisions, decisions....I could deal with not shaving and not going bald as well as the health benefits of lesser risk of prostate cancer and heart attack....but that lower sex drive is a killer. This is an old question, and I called off the bet, but she still goads me in to it once in a while. Thing is it would be only for about 90 days, so I'm not sure if any of the things you mentionrd would apply. Thanks for the info.

Not sure if I'm in the right question section or not Really need an answer as I need to make a decision by early Sept. as to whether I should take the pill for a while or not. Stupid bet I know, but nobody has filled me in on possible ramifications except for sarcastic answers. Would there really be any effects, and if so, long lasting?
