As with most answers, it just raised a lot more questions. We have come a long way toward social justice, but society has become unraveled during that time and the unraveling is getting progressively worse. We are no closer to a final, total solution now than we were 40 years ago, and we have lost sight of the goal because it keeps slipping further out - our problems are getting more complex than we ever thought they could be. So, the answer hasn't landed, but it has picked up speed.

    JAMMco... its complicated...

It did land, then the wind picked up again, then it landed, got buried in the snow, eventually thawed (thank you global warming) and is now back in flight and I believe it was spotted somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean.

It is rumored that George Bush has organized a search party and has promised the American people that he will get that Answer! (this way he can figure out what to do about Iraq...)

There are answers that are still blowing in the wind, and some others have landed.
Some of these answers that have landed are too hard to find, and some do not wish to be revealed.
Some of the answers that are still blowing are still being chased.

Smart2 is back! Did you miss me?

I thought the answer was in the bag ...
Seriously, I believe we, as a planet, are in as much or more turmoil than in the early 60s when Dylan penned that song, so it is probably more socially significant today than it was in its own time. Take a good listen to the rest of the lyrics and you'll understand what I mean.

  • I think he meant that the answer to whatever it is we're searching for is already around us. But I like your interpretation lol

LOL..last fall I took my mother's ashes and (illegally probably)scattered them in Stanley Park in Vancouver. She died years ago..and had always said that she never wanted to be anywhere where there were no trees. So I planted a couple of daffodil bulbs in the forest and scattered the ashes...BUT in the winter last year we had hurricane force winds and all those 250 foot trees blew down and the forest barely exists now..I figure that maybe mom is in Florida by now. :)

His mind at he time was probably blown away and so I would suggest that his answer is blowing somewhere in the ether.

The answers are in the red spot on Jupiter, so they will NEVER land anywhere.
