• I'm a frayed not. She is doing drugs, turning tricks to support her drug habit, but now she is 20 years old so legally there is nothing I can do to stop her. Time and life will either cure her or kill her - either way she will stop. I hope that it will be time and not death.

• Beats me. It happens. As an addict in recovery I know that there is no one defining moment when we become an addict. Sure we can think back to the first time we did a particular drug - but who can say where or when we developed the friendships/crowd we hang with or the notion that just one dose will be ok? She was a little terror in high school, one of the pretty snotty girls that tore up everyone else. She has 'tude and then some. Her habits and her way to pay for those habits may be just an extension of her 'tude....
