How did you find your current job - did you reply to an ad, apply speculatively, get it through networking? What have you found to be the most effective method for finding a good job?

I had volunteered there for a bit, and then was offered a position.

6 years ago, I went to do a bit of packing in the run up to Christmas ( agency job ), I was susposed to be there 12 weeks, 6 years later I am still there.

It was after I had surgery and I had left my previous job and I found it and decided to go for it. It's been 3 years and its been good to me, somewhat.

My last two jobs I found through the want ads in my local paper. The best way is through a person already working at the company you're interested in.
