I am considering getting a St. Bernard. Does anybody have experience with these dogs who can share some wisdom? This guy is two years old and pretty mellow. Anything I should check for/ask about?

Great dogs, my brother has one, ask about health problems because they can be prone to stomach and leg problems because of the size. It needs a good carefully balanced diet, and excercise ( but dont let it off its lead ) And remember that sadly the only live to about 10 years old :-( http://www.ehow.com/how_10116_care-saint-bernard.html has more.
