Do you mean in the genital area? I suppose it wouldn't be unusual if there was. I mean, the vaginal walls are made of muscle, and if there is a muscle that you 'work out' that you haven't before, it's probably going to have a bit of a reaction. Geez, I hope that's what you meant!

It is possible to have swelling after any episode of sex at any time in your life if the sex is exuberant, lengthy and/or a little rough. Any swelling that causes you genuine concern, lingers or appears unusual or inflammed needs to be discussed with a doctor.

You would know that. You've had sex for the first time, and your vulva is swollen. It's normal. As a man who never had sex with a virgin, I can't speak with certainty, but I should think you'd have some swelling every time you have intercourse. But your best bet is to see your gynecologist.
