Impossible to say. Many things can affect the disbursement of settlement funds, including the settlement of outstanding medical liens (they get paid before you do) and issues between the lawyers pertaining to the exact terms of the settlement. I know of a couple of cases that took several months after settlement before funds could be disbursed due to the involvement of Medicare liens. I presume you have an attorney; my advice is to keep in touch with him or her to check on the status.
