Yes because it is so obviously true.
-
yes, believing that, it realises me, that I am responsible for my every situation in my life, nothing else.
-
Pretty much, but I also believe it's a continually evolving, dynamic process. Sometimes what we think of as the end result (reaping) of the seeds we sow is not always the end. Sometimes the end is actually the middle in a much longer, more complex, string of events.

It should be "We should reap what we sow". Just because you plant a crop, does not mean it will get harvested, but it should be. I've seen many situations where someone "sowed" goodness" and "reaped" a backstabbing.

Yes, I absolutely do.
-
Not really there seems to have been a buttload of sowing and not alot of reaping... Am I doing it wrong?
-
I used to, but I'm still waiting for my harvest to come in.

Yes, it is a basic. However, there are exceptions. Many times we reap what others sow (eg war, abuse, pollution, suffering) and it appears that those who sowed, did not reap. However, by Christian definition (and this is a Judeo-Christian concept, from Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap), everyone will receive the recompense for what they sow. There is only one way to escape the ultimate in reaping: eternal separation from God, and that is by acknowledging the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross, which paid the penalty for all the "sowing" of the whole world, and enables humanity, by Jesus' "reaping" the punishment, to have relationship with God again, being forgiven for their sins.

Yes. It means the same thing as 'you get what you give'.......i try to be friendly, helpful, positive and honest with people and i think that because i genuinely expect people to treat me well, they do, for the most part. It's a shame that someone with a chip on their shoulder doesn't realise this. If you expect the worst from people, they often sense it and respond badly.

Yes, except when grace repentance and forgiveness comes into play.
-
Not sure, but I do believe in the saying "we sew what we rip."
-
Yes. As the Bible says, those who sow the wind will reap the whirlwind.
-
Yes, because it is absolutely true.
-
definitely
-
Absolutely! But I also know there are no guarantees in life and that sometimes bad things happen to good people. But for the most part, yes.
