We speak of humans getting super-human strength in times of need or disress. What do you think is the source of such a boost of strength?

    It is due to a huge adrenaline surge, also your mind tells you you need to do this so you do it, failure is not an option! Its the "fly or die" instinct within all of us!

    There are both physical and spiritual elements involved. The physical is often a rush of adrenalin. The spiritual comes from the Lord of Hosts. As Psalm 18: 34 says
    It is God who trains my hands for battle. My arms can bend a bow of bronze.
