How can i fix a carrier stall problem on a lexmark x85 printer?

As this is a h/w issue,the only thing you can try is moving the carriage(you'll find the carriage if you open the cover at the top).move it 10 or 15 times to and fro.If this doesn't work,it is a h/w issue.
