Some advice, man to man, and I am sure all men will agree with me, the best thing you can do in any relationship is to not even bother trying to understand the woman! They are ununderstandable (hehe I think I just made up a new word!). Also, be yourself, otherwise she will eventually find out and it will not end good!

Wow. 13 to 18... that's a big gap. When I was 13, I wasn't interested in the slightest. At 15, I was looking for a guy who was over hairpulling and note-passing... at 18, I wanted a good D&D player... I never dated any of them. At 21, I have a good older man who takes care of me, doesn't drink or smoke, has a house, a car, a good job, two dogs, takes care of his sick mum, and always has toilet paper and milk in the house. Oh, and he plays D&D too... ^_^

Be yourself. It's so cliche to say, but it's very true. A girl will be able to tell if you're being fake. Whether or not she finds out on the first date, or much later on, she will eventually find out. So, be yourself the first night and she will appreciate your honesty. With that said, just be nice, funny, and charming. Then you will be good to go.
