When we raise people out of poverty and raise their status they become wealthier and that leaves a new class of people to be poor. It is a nver ending cycle of riasing the low guy up and then doing it all over again.

- Your logic only follows if we believe there is a finite amount of wealth in which only some may attain while others remain in poverty. Although a popular belief tis not validated by economics.

- It is simple economics though...you raise one classes wealth then prices for items goes up and then that makes another class seem and be less wealthy thus putting them in the poverty state.

Because, if we started GIVING things away, we couldn't line our fat Western pockets with dinero quite so easily.
