I think Clarke Gable is dead sexy. Rhett Butler, the character, is dispicable.

At the time, yes he certainly was. But the character of "Rhett" was horrid, because, if you read the book, (he's not portrayed like this in the movie), he blames everything on Scarlett, even though he was as much, if not more, to blame. Huh..typical! :-)
