A 27 year-old unmarried woman does not sound weird. She sounds incredibly smart to have not caved into society's pressure to be part of a couple! Keep at your fun, girlfriend!!

You are not weird in any way. You are just making sure you are ready and know what you want. You don't always have to "find" the one...sometimes it happens when you least expect it and are not looking!

I don't think it's weird either. I think you should be having fun! A watched pot never boils. It's when you least expect it or aren't paying attention when it happens.
