Does the social concept of human 'race' do more harm than good?

I don't know. I don't think people should be sorted by race or religion, but people are so different from each other I don't know if we could all be considered "one". We are unique because we have control over our environment, and most of us are built the same with two eyes, one nose, a mouth, two arms and legs and have the same biological processes. I don't think theres any way to sort people, so having us as one to probably the best way to do things.

Whether or not it does any good, eliminating it would not solve the problem of racism. Humans are going to find something to be prejudiced about. If we all were the same race, for example, humans would find something else to pick on.

I am not sure it is a concept. The human race exists. Humans do both harm and good, more more good than harm. i hope I understood your question.
