Into home depot? If so read on: What you need is galvanized piping, the kind that screws together. Depending on your ceiling and the location of your beams you could either come straight down with a bit of pipe with a L shaped elbow joining together a cross piece, finishing off with flanges on the short pieces (circular bits that screw on to a length of pipe and have holes for screws to fasten to a surface - used commonly in stair rails) Making certain to use long screws. OR you can get eye hooks (the kind that have closed loops at one that screw into a surface) and two bits of chain. A length of pipe and closed pipe caps (ends). a couple of eye bolts and nuts and washers. In this case you will take the pipe cap- drill a hole in the center of each to accommodate the width/thickness of the eye bolt screw end - using a couple of washers that are large enough to cover the hole, and narrow enough to fit against the top of the pipe cap. Use two nuts per bolt. Tighten down first one, then the other. Join chain to the eye bolts at both end with those chain clamps (I forget there name). This second method will not be stable, it will tend to swing. The first method will not swing if you use thick enough pipe for the sides and heavy duty screws. Of course you would look at the material on the shelf to find the right sized thickness of pipe for both projects.
