When you read something, anything- do you REALLY read it? Do you think about every word and what the information is trying to tell you, or do you just skim over it and assume that your response pretty well covers it? (Seriously.)

No way.... If you do such, you will never finish reading, because each word read will have different meanings and so on.. It is simply wasting time. What i do, is that i read a paragraph and then analyze it...

It depends on what I am reading. Most things I do read carefully especially if it is legal documents, financial documents, anything that I have to sign, instructions or important information. If it is a magazine article or something that I am just passing time by reading I may just skim over it.

When I read a poem I think it's important to read every word in relation to all the others. Can be very hard to do though...

Yes, I really, really get into what I read. If not, that would mean it was boring, so I'd skip the whole thing.
