  • If it's bloody as yo said, you need to take him to a vet asap!
  • There are multiple causes for such a problem, only few of them are not serious. Please take your puppy to a veterinarian immediately, if not sooner.
  • Possibly parvo, get him to the vet ASAP!!
  • Mine had the same problem so I took him to the vet and she said it was a bacterial infection. She prescribed some antibiotics and that took care of it.
  • ANYTIME THERE IS BLOOD IN THE STOOL OR URINE...YOU NEED TO GET YOUR DOG TO A VET STAT! Especially if the blood is bright red. This is an emergency situation almost 90% of the time.
  • Sounds like parvo....No vet = death...even if he does go to vet might not survive...GOOD LUCK!!!!
  • You need to get your pupper to vet like everybody else said!! When my dog started pooing blood, we found out he had a terrible virus infected into him by most likely some kind of bug. He was put on all sorts of medicine and had many injections. The vet said he would most likely die due to the fact that most dogs who are diagnosed with this virus don't survive, especially little dogs due to their small immune systems. (My dog is a cairn terrier, very tiny!!) Thank God, my baby survived. But now he's taking a pill every night at dinner for the rest of his life. Also, he can't have any injections (I honestly can't remember why) so he always has to be outside with somebody just to make sure no rabid animals can get him, we'd have to put him down if he got rabies :'( The vet also said that if he gets the same virus again, he definitely won't live. Well he did get it again. But that was over three years ago, my baby pupper who is now quite the old man is still alive with plenty more years to go. :)
