I installed new hard drive in computer. I reinstalled iTunes. I tried to move all my mp3's from ipod to itunes, and I got an error message saying that I can't have multiple "itunes" software. In other words ipod see that this itunes is not original softwa

    You can de-register and re-register the software several times if you have problems. The most important thing is to load Itunes off the old hard drive and de-register it, since their digital rights management includes details about the hard drive serial number. Then restart itunes from the new drive and re-register it with your registered email address, and select "Re-authorise my music purchases"

    If you have deleted the old installation of Itunes you will have to contact their support department to pursuade them to give you a code to deregister your previous copy of the program.
