  • As long as I can get my 6'8" self in the driver's seat, doesn't matter.
  • I would rather an American, being that you can't beat American Muscle! But naw, I have a Jeep, which is American of course.
  • Import. Hands down. Every American vehicle I have owned or driven on a consistent basis has had problems that were more frequent and more serious than my imports; transmissions, cracked blocks. Additionally, the parts tend to be slightly more expensive and they are actually designed to NOT be able to be worked on by a shade-tree mechanic such as myself. And American carmakers do NOT know how to match a transmission's gear ratios to the powerband of the engine. And American carmakers have only recently figured out how to even get a decent amount of power without throwing fuel economy in the toilet. Ironically, it is partly because they are doing things that imports have been doing for decades. Did you know that many of the go-fast goodies for your old muscle-cars are standard equipment on even the econoboxes of 20 years ago; balanced cranks, blueprinting, and so on?
