  • Your question is a little unclear. In all liklihood, custody will be determined by the court. As a minor, you may be asked your preference of living arrangement but you won't get to make the decision. Until you turn 18, the custody order has to be followed. You can petition to be heard but you'll have to have an adult with you. If you're asking if you can move out of your mother's house and on your own, again you have to be 18. You can petition the court for emancipation, but you'll have to prove you have full-time owrk and can afford to live on your won and sustain yourself (i.e., not living with friends or another adult).
  • does a non custodial parent have to supply a bed for the child to sleep in during visitation?
