I don't know where or if you're still looking to ride, but here's a link to Wisconsin Horse Trails the 10th edition of wisconsin state horse council Trail Directory. The book provides descriptions, maps and insights to more than 100 trails and places to stay like B&B's as well as campgrounds. www.wisconsinstatehorsecouncil.org/Trail%20Directory%2010 My favorite camp is Ukarydee in Adams County on the Castle Rock Trails. A very popular camp is in Northern Unit Kettle Moraine; this campground was being improved this year. There are also lots of opportunities in the northern part of the state where camping is allowed, but where there aren't improved campgrounds. The best part about horseback riding in Wisconsin, in general, is that it's relatively easy to access trails for any level of experience from easy/novice to extreme/gps navigation required. Good Luck & have fun riding
