What is the point of having AB users as moderators? It creates animosity and anger from the people who ask questions (Or variations of the question thereof). Why not just let the AB staff do all the moderating?

I think that would anger people even more. Most of them wouldn't even think of coming back to AB for another question. To me at least, it sounds a little like: "Big Brother is watching" (Orwell, not the TV show : ) Also, I think it's a very time-consumming job. How big is the AB staff anyway? They are probably thankful for the help.
