Check my site about blister treatment: http://www.treatblisters.com
To treat a blister, you want to cover it with moleskin or a bandage, and keep the site clean. If the blister is larger than a quarter, you can attempt to pop it. Clean the site around the blister with soap and water, then use an antiseptic. To pop it, either use a sterile needle or a scalpel blade, and peirce the blister, near the bottom of it, then clean it with soap and water, and use an antiseptic to clean it. Put on an antibiotic ointment, and cover with a sterile bandage. Do not pop blisters caused by a burn. If your blister is too large, or appears infected, go see a doctor immediatly.
For water filled blisters, I use a sterile needle to carefully open the blister at the base (about a millimeter away from the affected tissue) and let the water out. Once the pressure is off the wound, the upper layer of skin acts as a bandage until the wound heals. I treat open blisters as I would any other scrape.
