I just get asked do you want to save this file with firefox. Internet exp gave me more options to run, to save or cancel. how can I open /run a downloaded file with firefox

By default the download window is off. U have to turn it on by goin to tools> options and in the 'main' tab check the option 'show download window when downloading a file' After that, it would show another window that has run, cancel and remove options. However the window also shows when u save a picture and it gets annoying. Alternatively, when a download is complete a pop-up would open on bottom right for a very little time. If u click on that, u'll get the same window. Hope this helps

If you can't run a saved file, then get off of your PC and never come back. I miss the old days when ownership of computers and cars were restricted to those that knew how to use them.
