  • Never.
  • I do get curious, but I don't worry about the viruses. With a Mac, you don't have to worry about any viruses that come after, so I'm not afriad of them. Still I wonder on some ads what they might have though.
  • ALWAYS. it's a curse. you know those pop ups that have little activities for you to do? they're like, "make five hoops and win an ipod!" i always try to make the five hoops and then exit really fast..pretty much i'm a little kid pretending to be grown up ..but ive got a mac so no worries
  • Yes & No ... I have all the latest blocks, filters, anti-virus, etc., and I make frequent backups, so I am not worried about a virus or other malware from clicking a pop-up, even though I'm not worried, I seldom click them anyway ... what does worry me are the ones that lead to an info collecting web-site that asks for stuff like name, phone, address, mother's maiden name, birth date, etc., ... although it is possible to have a legitimate site asking these questions for legitimate reasons, it is very easy to fake a site and just gather info for ID fraud or other fraudulent uses.
  • No, I don’t no witch I hate more, Pop - ups or traffic cops!!!
  • Not if I can keep from it.......
  • No. I never click pop-ups. They don't even trigger my curiousity...just my annoyance.
  • I run Linux. I don't even worry about viruses anymore since I switched from Windows :)
  • Hell no. Mostly a waste of time.
  • Um huh until I picked up a virus. Why is it that someone can be so sick that they can only sit for hours sending out computer viruses? They were probably the kids voted least likely to succeed. And the ones who pulled the wings off of roaches when they were younger.
  • I have AVG virus detector and firefox, so I'm usually safe with the whole virus thing. Pop-Ups are annoying so I usually just close them.
  • Never did, no... I've always found them to be distracting and annoying, and I was very glad when IE came out with a built in pop-up blocker... ;-)
  • I have AVG, avast, and Mozilla. Even on IE, even if I'm stupid to download something virus-filled, then AVG and Avast pick it up the second I start downloading, and I never get pop-ups, you just need to know which sites to go on ;)

  • Never. I use Mozilla SeaMonkey with the NoScript plug-in to allow only scripts I have 'whitelisted' and block all others. . Both are free. Info here: . http://www.seamonkey-project.org/ . http://noscript.net/getit . Even without NoScript (a separate add-in), SeaMonkey has excellent tools. Examples: * Cookie manager * Image manager * Popup manager * Form manager * Download manager * Password manager * ...and much more. . You can go with the defaults or configure things to your personal preferences. I'm no expert. I just started using Mozilla products a couple of years ago.
  • Between Zone Alarm and whatever pop up blocker Firefox has, I rarely see pop-ups anymore.
  • No,not that curious.
  • No, I never click on any of them.
  • No I do not click on pop ups or pop unders.
  • I do not ever get any pop-ups, If I did, I would not click on them. For anyone who wants to know what pop-up blocker I use, it's the one on the Yahoo Toolbar. If you would like to try it, please click on this link. I have tried most of them, and in my opinion Yahoo has one of the best pop-up blockers.
