  • OK 1st sensible reply in a long time... I would presume that it represents anything that the majority deem usual, or 'acceptable' in some contexts...
  • I try not to. Definition is often applicable to context.
  • no, my definition of normal would be grossly different than yours. signs of abnormalcy: 1) that your collection of Dennys salt and pepper shakers is in the 10' of thousands. 2) that you are morally required to steal fruit from the local Safeway. 3) that your idea of a concealed weapon is a rattle snake. 4) that you have more shoes than IQ points. 5) that you are in line waiting to buy an I-phone.
  • Normal to me means..."A state of being that is mutually agreed by a majority of society." But if we want to be truthful. Being different is being normal. :)
  • "Normal" is what the general public sees as "acceptable."
  • Sorry... I don't know the meaning of the word...
  • Can you define normal? Wow, that is an excellent question! Unfortunately, no, I am unable to define normal.
  • no i can't there is no such thing as normal. the things we normalize like, poverty, repression, ect.. don't seem like what normal should be. i am not even sure if there is anything normal. i really don't care much for that word. good question.
  • A word that has no bases in objective reality.Since each person is different and what seems normal to one is abnormal to another normality is a fallacy and a delusion of the mind.
