  • In tennessee, your juvenile record is like your left arm. it stays there for the duration of your lifetime. shoplifting is a serious crime, simply because of the involved implications surrounding the charge. governments will not hire you, once they conduct a record check and find a conviction of shoplifting. it s a tough law thats there a lifetime.
  • Well, if this "fine" you're talking about is just a civil demand from the store, then no, it won't be on your record. If you were arrested, went to court, was sentenced, etc... and the fine was a result of that then yes it will be. I think a lot of people mix up court fines with civil demand notices.
