  • I don't think so. If it were, it would have done a much better job. I noticed some RC things in it, but that is because I have theological training. Others I was with did not notice what I noticed. All of us saw a very sincere and reverent attempt to show how much Christ suffered for us. I think it did equally as good a job as any other film about the life of Christ, and many ways, much better. It was not sugar coated, that's for sure. I think it will stand the test of time. It was a milestone in christian cinematography. I would ask that people not be too critical of it, or too picky. It is doing a good job of spreading the truth of the crucifixion and resurrection in many parts of the world where preaching is difficult.
