In the days of propeller aircrafts, how long did it take to travel from London to New York by plane?

    Approximately 17 hours depending on many variable such as wind and weather. The propeller-driven ailiners which could finally vault the Atlantic with some fuel to spare usually cruised at around 200mph.

    I think it took about 3,5 times the time it takes now, but until the "Super Constellation" arrived, I think there weren't many New York-London flights.
