Trace her lineage back at least ten generations to make sure she is of sturdy stock, then get a pre-nup outlining the necessity of the production of a male heir.

Do something that allows conversation...dinner...shoot pool...bowling...get coffee...go to the park and go for a walk...if you live in a warm area, float the local river in a canoe (if you have rental places around). Probably most importantly, find out what your date likes...you don't want to drag her to the park if she hates the outdoors or if she is wearing heals or something. Movies are usually not good for first dates. And if you respect your date, don't try to get in her pants on the first date (or the 2nd or 3rd lol).
